The role
Key responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll related activities including calculation of gross and net pay, deductions, and other payroll-related adjustments, claims reimbursement
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll tax and statutory contributions
- Liaise with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and documentation
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and analysis
- Interface with HR customers handling payroll queries
- Support billing operations such as customer billing
- Ensure billing timeliness and accuracy.
- Manage onboarding and new hire and offboarding process (preparation of agreement, negotiations of benefits, involvement in work pass applications)
- Work closely with customers to handle employee related issues which encompass counseling, grievances process, disciplinary and termination
- Follow-up on staff renewal, performance, etc.
What we're looking for
- Degree / Diploma in HR Management / Business Management with minimum 1 year of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of local payroll regulations and statutory requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
