Job description

The role

Key responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll related activities including calculation of gross and net pay, deductions, and other payroll-related adjustments, claims reimbursement
  • Ensure accurate and compliant payroll tax and statutory contributions
  • Liaise with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and analysis
  • Interface with HR customers handling payroll queries
  • Support billing operations such as customer billing
  • Ensure billing timeliness and accuracy.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire and offboarding process (preparation of agreement, negotiations of benefits, involvement in work pass applications)
  • Work closely with customers to handle employee related issues which encompass counseling, grievances process, disciplinary and termination
  • Follow-up on staff renewal, performance, etc.

What we're looking for

  • Degree / Diploma in HR Management / Business Management with minimum 1 year of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of local payroll regulations and statutory requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
