Responsibilities
- Calculate monthly salaries, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Handle leave calculations per MOM guidelines.
- Assist in IR8A and employer income tax filing.
- Post job ads on portals.
- Conduct new hire onboarding.
- Process government-paid leave claims.
Skills
Strong understanding of the HR cycle and employment laws
Effective communicator with high emotional intelligence
Familiarity with HR tools like HRIS, ATS, LMS, and payroll systems
Ability to mediate workplace issues fairly and constructively
Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
Experience with performance management systems and employee development
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with analytics tools
Scope of Duties
- Calculate monthly salaries, including overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
- Compute CPF contributions (employee & employer) in compliance with CPF regulations.
- Process levy and foreign worker-related payments.
- Handle leave calculations (annual, sick, childcare, maternity/paternity leave) per MOM guidelines.
- Assist in IR8A and employer income tax filing (e.g., submission via Auto-Inclusion Scheme).
- Ensure compliance with Employment Act, CPF, and SDL (Skills Development Levy) regulations.
- Post job ads on portals (e.g., JobsBank, MyCareersFuture).
- Screen resumes, schedule & conduct interviews, and conduct reference checks.
- Prepare employment contracts and work passes (e.g., EP, S Pass, WP) via MOM’s WP Online.
- Conduct new hire onboarding (e-signatures, briefing on company policies).
- Assist in implementing and managing HRMS software (e.g., Payboy, JustLogin, QuickHR).
- Maintain digital employee records (leave, attendance, payroll).
- Train employees on self-service portals for leave and claims submissions.
- Maintain P-files (physical/digital) and ensure data accuracy.
- Process government-paid leave claims (e.g., childcare leave via Government-Paid Leave Portal).
- Handle work pass renewals, cancellations, and employee exit clearances.
- Any other tasks as directed.
