Job summary

A leading company in Singapore seeks an HR professional to manage HR operations, from recruitment to resolving workplace issues. The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma or degree, alongside strong communication skills and at least 2 years of experience in HR management.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of working experience required.
  • General knowledge of Employment Act is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment process from sourcing to arranging interviews.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and work pass administration.
  • Resolve workplace conflicts and manage disciplinary issues.

Job description

Provide support in managing all HR procedures and ensure smooth day to day HR operations. Perform a variety of human resources, personnel and office administrative tasks such as:

  • In charge of the recruitment process from sourcing to arranging for interviews.

  • Provide support in day-to-day HR Operations such as onboarding, offboarding, application/renewal/cancellation of work passes.

  • Maintain updated records of staff dormitory assignments and occupancy, take precautionary steps to ensure foreign workers residential address is promptly and accurately updated, ensure workers are indeed residing at the address as per OFWAS system.

  • Resolve Workplace Conflicts, staff grievance, disciplinary issue and termination.

  • Administration of incident records (Work Injury, Public Liability, Foreign Worker’s Work Medic). This shall include incident investigation/report, submission of IReport, submission of claims to insurer, chase of outstanding payment from Insurer, etc..

  • Assist with the ISO/bizSAFE audit.

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of working experience

  • General knowledge of Employment Act will be advantageous

  • Intermediate to Advanced level user of MS Excel and numerically inclined

  • Strong English writing and communication skills is a MUST for this role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Meticulous, detailed, well-organized and able to work independently to meet datelines

  • A good team player, resourceful and be able to work independently
