Job summary

A reputable engineering services company in Singapore is seeking an HR Officer to execute the full spectrum of human resources functions. This role includes providing HR administrative support, managing recruitment, and supporting employee relations. The ideal candidate should possess a degree or diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years of experience in HR, along with strong organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act is essential.

Job Purpose:

To execute the full spectrum of human resources functions to achieve current organization’s goals and future business strategic initiatives

Educational/Professional Qualification:

Degree/Diploma in any disciplines and/or Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management

Working Experience/Exposure:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in providing HR administration and support in full spectrum of HR in a fast-paced environment, preferably in MNCs
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices
  • Good knowledge of Government legislations (MOM, CPF and IRAS)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels
  • Tactful, has good EQ (emotional quotient) and AQ (adversity quotient)
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to organise and work independently
  • Attentive to details and reliable

  • Has sound foundation in HR processes and practices, preferably in Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Employment Legislation, and Industrial Relations

Working Hours

  • 5 days work week
  • Mon - Thur: 8am - 5.15pm
  • Fri: 8am - 4.30pm

Location

  • Tuas (company bus transport provided)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR administrative support to HR Manager and HR Executive
  • Provide full range support in HR duties including recruitment and selection, preparation of contract, orientation, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and manpower planning
  • Process and generate HR monthly reports
  • Manage timekeeping and attendance, providing necessary documentation to finance and payroll to support payroll functions
  • Working with finance to process staff insurance and claims
  • WorkDay administration – assisting with staff queries on WorkDay, maintenance of Annual Leave, No pay leave records etc
  • Administer industrial attachment, internship programme
  • Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing of HR processes and procedures
  • Any other HR functions as assigned
