Job description

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to deliver high-impact HR solutions and drive operational excellence across all areas of human resources. This role is responsible for supporting both corporate and store functions, ensuring effective recruitment, employee engagement, workforce planning, HR compliance, and talent development in alignment with business objectives.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
    Ensure effective recruitment processes and initiatives to attract talent across corporate and store positions. This includes manpower planning, job postings, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, compensation benchmarking, salary proposals, onboarding, and upskilling initiatives.

  • Onboarding & Orientation:
    Manage job offers, conduct onboarding processes, and organize weekly orientation sessions for new joiners to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience.

  • HR Advisory & Business Partnering:
    Partner senior management and department heads to provide sound HR counsel on a wide range of matters, including manpower budgeting, resourcing, employee engagement, communication, and performance management.

  • HR Process Improvement:
    Review, recommend, and implement improvements to HR workflows and processes for enhanced productivity, efficiency, and alignment with evolving business needs.

  • External Partnerships:
    Build and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies, academic institutions, and industry bodies to support talent pipeline development, funding support, and talent mobility initiatives.

  • Payroll Management:
    Oversee timely, compliant, and accurate payroll processing in accordance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.

  • Employee Relations:
    Handle staff grievances, conflict resolution, and provide consultative support and coaching to managers and supervisors on people management matters.

  • HR Analytics:
    Track and analyze key HR metrics such as attrition rates, foreign-local workforce mix, and recruitment lead times. Provide actionable insights and innovative solutions to address workforce challenges.

  • Industry Awareness:
    Stay current with HR best practices, regulatory changes, and industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.

  • General HR Support:
    Participate in HR-related initiatives, employee engagement activities, and perform other ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree HR or business-related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in business partnering and HR operations preferably F&B/ FMCG industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Good project management skills.

  • Possess a high level of resilience and positive work attitude.

  • Willingness to learn and deliver timely and quality results to internal stakeholders.

  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore’s Employment and its related statutory requirements and legislations.

  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with staff of all levels.
