Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR and Administration professional who will manage recruitment, employee records, payroll processing, and ensure compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Human Resources Management, along with 3-4 years of relevant experience, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional knowledge of ISO standards and experience in a manufacturing environment are preferred.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
  • Manage recruitment process: job postings, recruitment agencies & onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR databases are up-to-date.
  • Payroll processing (Opensoft), attendance tracking, and leave management.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
  • Handle HR documentation including employment contracts, policies, and exit formalities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, RBA and company HR policies.
  • Handle work pass & income tax clearance related matters
Administration:
  • Oversee office facilities and day-to-day administrative operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships (cleaning & office supplies, etc.).
  • Organize company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain office inventory and handle procurement requests.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
  • Liaise with government bodies and handle statutory compliance where required.
  • Carry out any additional responsibilities or ad-hoc assignments as directed by the superior.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Diploma/Certification in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality Management) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Opensoft Payroll Software is a plus.
