A leading company in offshore drilling is seeking a seasoned HSEQ Manager. The role focuses on implementing comprehensive health, safety, environmental, and quality systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and promoting a strong safety culture among offshore teams. Candidates should possess extensive experience, particularly in subsea projects and possess strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 20 years of HSEQ experience in offshore/subsea projects.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation techniques.
  • Familiarity with IMCA, OGP, and other subsea industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain HSEQ systems in line with ISO standards.
  • Conduct offshore site visits to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Lead incident investigations and coordinate audits for HSEQ.

Job description

HSEQ Management:

  • Implement and maintain HSEQ systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with HSEQ regulations and client requirements.
  • Develop and update project-specific HSEQ plans and procedures.

Subsea Project Support:

  • Provide HSEQ oversight during subsea operations including diving, ROV, and pipelaying activities.
  • Conduct offshore site visits and inspections to ensure safe work practices.
  • Liaise with offshore teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Incident & Audit Management:

  • Lead or support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure findings are addressed and closed.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, audits, and corrective actions.

Training & Communication:

  • Deliver HSEQ inductions and toolbox talks for project personnel.
  • Promote awareness of HSEQ policies and procedures across teams.
  • Organize emergency drills and ensure preparedness for offshore scenarios.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Monitor and report HSEQ performance metrics.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement; recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly HSEQ reports for management and clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of HSEQ experience in offshore/subsea projects.
  • Familiarity with IMCA, OGP, and other subsea industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation techniques.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HSEQ management systems.
