Assist Project Manager to identify and assess any foreseeable risk
- Perform the role of Secretary in WSH Committee.
- Be aware of all the latest applicable statutory requirements & owners requirements from current affairs or any other medium.
- Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WSH committee meetings and recommend areas for improvement
- Encourage site staff participation in hazard inspection, reporting and rectification.
- Establish and implement an emergency response programme.
- Monitor OSH performance and progress regularly and implementation of Safety & Health Violation penalty system.
- Inspect Machinery, Equipment or Plant validity.
- Review Safe Work Procedure.
- Inquire incident/accident, for documents.
- Recommend best practice.
- Eliminate hazard – Minimize hazard.
- Implementation of Permit to Work System.
- Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
- Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
- Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe
- Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes
- Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety
- standards throughout the production team and the entire company
- Meeting company health and safety goals
- Investigating causes of accidents andother unsafe conditions on the job site
- Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with health and safety rules
- To liaise with associates on all health, safety and environment issues
- Assist in maintain & review safety management system to latest standard
- Any others HSE related works
Requirements
- Possess at least a Specialist Diploma in WSH and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace safety and health (WSH)-related and certificate in ECO
- MOM registered WSH Officer and NEA registered ECO + PUB registered ECMO.
- Possess at least 3 years’ related experience preferably in Construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Well organized with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude and good team player.
- Willing to work 6 days/week. (Mon-Friday, 8am - 5pm, Sat 8am-12pm)
