Job summary

CATIG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Lead to oversee the Safety team and drive the implementation of the company’s safety systems at sites. You will inspect workplaces to ensure safety compliance and liaise with authorities and clients on safety issues.

The role requires a Specialist Diploma in WSH, at least 2 years in construction, and MOM registration, with responsibilities including audits, risk assessments, and training coordination.

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma in WSH is required.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction industry.
• Possess a valid registration with MOM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Safety team in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites.
• Inspect and examine the workplace to ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Identify safety, environmental health non-compliance and recommend measures to rectify.
• Liaise with authorities and clients on matters pertaining to environmental, workplace safety issues.
• Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all safety and health issues.
• Conduct & organize internal / external WSH trainings for staffs.
• Conduct incident investigations & propose corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provisions.
• Conduct, review & submit Risk Assessments.
• Prepare safe work procedures for site activities.
