Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements project HSE Management plan at various project sites in local yards and overseas yards
Develops and implements Site Emergency Response Plans for the project
Coordinates HSE matters effectively with operations team and other teams involved in fabrication, Commissioning, T&I, and Offshore phases
Coordinates with client Portfolio HSE Managers and other yard HSE Leads for various HSE matters
Attends meetings with clients and Project operations team and discuss on various HSE matters
Visits various sites to ensure safe work practices are in place at fabrication yards, including overseas yards
Attends overseas meetings on HSE-related matters and advise the operations team accordingly
Coordinates and updates HSE progresses to Project Manager and clients on regular basis
Carries out incident investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented
Works on HSE practices alignment within all project locations (local and overseas yards)
Coordinates and advises Project HSE Leads on various HSE matters arising from local and overseas yards
Develops Project HSE documents at various phases of the project
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental and occupational safety and health or in any related Engineering
Minimum of 10 - 12 years of working experience with Marine and Offshore industries
Must be a Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
Must have Offshore experience
Needs to work extended work hours and shift works according to project needs
Possesses the following certificates: Assess confined space for safety entry and work certification, Risk Management Training Course, Work at Height Assessor certification, Occupational First Aid & AED Course, Incident Investigation and Internal Auditor training course for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
Leadership capability and able to work as a team
Must be able to travel overseas
