Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements Offshore HSE Plans and relevant Plans/ Procedures as per client requirements
Develops and implements Site Emergency Response Plans (Offshore) for the project
Coordinates HSE matters effectively with Company and Client operations team
Develops and implements various training programs applicable for onshore, Transportation and offshore phase
Implements all project HSE requirements at worksites as per clients and offshore HSE requirements
Monitors HSE effectiveness at various project phases and advises operational team for any non-compliance or non-conformity
Coordinates with various stakeholders (Transportation and Installation team, subcontractors etc.) on HSE requirements in various phases
Initiates HSE Programs for continual HSE improvement
Participates in all required HSE meetings and prepares and records all meeting minutes for the project
Participates in required Safety walkabout and other regular HSE inspections to be carried out in project
Carries out incident investigations and proposes corrective actions to be implemented
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental and occupational safety and health or in any related Engineering
Minimum of 5 - 8 years of working experience with Marine and Offshore industries
Must be a Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
Must have Offshore experience
Needs to work extended work hours and shift works according to project needs
Possesses the following certificates: Assess confined space for safety entry and work certification, Risk Management Training Course, Work at Height Assessor certification, Occupational First Aid & AED Course, Incident Investigation, Internal Auditor training course for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, BOSIET Certification and OEUK Certification
Leadership capability and able to work as a team
Must be able to travel overseas and offshore field
