A leading company in the aerospace sector seeks an HSE Specialist to ensure compliance with safety standards and manage facility operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring safety practices, conducting audits, and assisting in training. Ideal for candidates with relevant diplomas and experience in occupational health and safety, this role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist in the compliance of the organization to regulatory/ISO/corporate HSE requirements.
· Assist to revise organization manuals to ensure compliance to regulatory/process changes such as facility fire safety and safety notices kept up to date.
· Assist to perform incident investigation and follow up on the corrective/preventive actions.
· Monitor all contractors’ activities and ensure compliance with organization, government safety protocols and regulations.
· Assist SIC to coordinate and supervise emergency evacuation drills.
· Carry out safety, vendor and process audits to ensure compliance with requirements
· Manage general facility management in conjunction with the building owner, for the repair of building structure defects, air-conditioning, power supply and lift operations.
· Energy Management in accordance to the Group’s requirement and objective.
· Other duties as assigned (e.g. Security Management).
Job Requirements:
· Specialist Diploma in WSH or Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety.
· At least 2 years of working experience in HSE, preferably in the aerospace industry
· Trained / certified WSH Safety Officer is preferred.
· Knowledge of LEAN methodology and IMS (ISO 14001 and 45001) would be an added advantage
· Internal auditing experience is preferred.
· Training experience would be an added advantage.
· Team player with good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
