Job summary

ROYAL OCEAN MARINE ENTERPRISE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled HSE professional to maintain and enhance our HSE management systems, lead risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices across the business.

Qualifications

• Formal Work Safety and Health qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a HSE Practitioner.
• FSM certification, Biz Safety Level 2.
• Manage Work at Height Certificate - Assessor/Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective HSE management systems to ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation and company policies
• Manage and update risk assessment processes to identify, assess, and control generic and site-specific risks
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive HSE risk register to document significant risks and control measures
• Monitor progress towards HSE objectives and targets, ensuring compliance with legislative and group requirements
• Oversee reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and work-related ill-health cases according to group and local standards
• Plan, prepare, conduct, and report on internal and external HSE audits and inspections
• Implement and maintain HSE performance review and improvement plans at business unit and branch levels
• Facilitate and participate in country and business unit HSE reviews to integrate learnings into improvement plans
• Identify and promote HSE best practices across the country and business units
• Perform other duties as assigned to support HSE objectives

• Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards


• Strong knowledge of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations


• Preferably knowledgeable in local legislation such as WSH, SCDF, and NEA
