Qualifications

- Holds MOM WSHO and SCDF FSM qualification.

Job Description
- Uphold the duty of the site Workplace Safety and Health Officer per MOM requirement, Fire Safety Manager as SCDF requirement and Secretary of Workplace Safety and Health Committee
- Conduct audits, daily HSE inspection and review on self assessment of the company's HSE requirements (SAFRAN HSE GOLD STANDARDS – 26 Elements)
- Execute HSE action plan, projects and business activities align with Statutory and Safran requirement
- Perform the Management of Change and Risk Assessment program across all activities and accident / incident investigation
- Ensuring compliance of waste, chemical regulation safe handling/disposal of chemicals/toxic wastes.
- Promote safety culture and loss prevention in the work place.
- Oversee effectiveness of Safety/HSE program of sub-contractors management
- Review and manage the permit-to-work requirement (e.g.: Hotwork, confined space)
- Participate actively in contribution to HSE & Security application, development and improvement.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in aviation, manufacturing or oil & gas industry
- Minimum Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
- Familiar with HSE Act & Regulations
- Holds MOM WSHO and SCDF FSM qualification
- Incumbent should be familiar with:
- Hazardous Area Classification: Explosion Protection Documents
- Prepare documentation, reports and procedures and ensure compliance with HSE
- Responding to safety surveys
- Risk Assessments as required by various Statutory Instruments
- Environmental Liability Risk Assessments
- Task hazard analysis
- MOM Registered Workplace safety officer
- Fire Safety Manager
