This is a perm role for one of our client in the construction industry

Location: Toa Payoh / Islandwide
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Seniority Level: Junior Executive

Salary Range: $3,000 - $5,000 per month

A leading construction firm is seeking a dedicated HSE Coordinator to support site safety operations for a major infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the construction sector, a solid understanding of workplace safety regulations, and the ability to manage subcontractors and lead site safety initiatives effectively. This is a permanent, full-time role based at the project site in Toa Payoh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in risk assessment and risk management activities on site
  • Conduct routine site HSE inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions and practices
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions in a timely manner
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, and follow through with reporting and recommendations
  • Conduct safety inductions and HSE-related trainings for workers and subcontractors
  • Review and approve Permit-to-Work (PTW) applications and ensure compliance
  • Maintain and update HSE records, reports, and documentation
  • Participate in HSE committee meetings and drive safety initiatives
  • Work closely with project teams and subcontractors to promote a safe working environment

Requirements:
  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent qualification
  • Confined Space Safety Assessor certification is mandatory
  • At least 5 years of HSE experience in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health, hygiene, and environmental regulations
  • Experience managing subcontractors and influencing safety behaviour among site teams
  • Able to perform rotating shifts when required
  • Willing to be based in the Toa Payoh area
