Job summary

Hai Leck Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety & Health professional to lead HSE compliance on site. The role requires conducting hazard assessments, implementing control measures, and driving continual safety improvements across projects.

The candidate should hold WSQ Level B safety qualifications, oil & petrochemical safety certifications, and knowledge of the WSH Act. Relevant experience in process construction or oil & gas industries is preferred, with additional safety certifications

Qualifications

• Must have safety certifications relevant to workplace safety and health.
• Knowledge of WSH Act and applicable legal requirements.
• Experience in Process Construction or Oil & Gas industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Daily TBM and Mass TBM.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, implement control measures and manage risks.
• Implement HSE measures for continual improvement.
• Inspect the site compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations.
• Attend client meetings/audits and site inspections.
• Conduct inspections and provide corrective/preventive measures when necessary.
• Monitor HSE Objectives & Targets and feedback on changes needed.
• Conduct in-house HSE training.
• Coordinate and implement Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.
• Collect HSE statistics and conduct trend analysis.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and submit reports.
• Participate in HSE promotions and other HSE activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Superior.

Education

WSQ Advanced Certificate/Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent

Certificate in Oil Petrochemical Safety Supervisor

Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor

Work at Height Course for Supervisor

Certificate in Confined Space Safety Assessor

Implementation of Risk Management Course (Bizsafe Level 2)

Knowledge of WSH Act & legal requirements

Experience in Process Construction / Oil & Gas Industries

Other related safety certifications

• Preferably with relevant experience in Process Construction / Oil & Gas Industries
• Other related safety certifications
