Job description

New Life Community Services is a not-for-profit social service agency that seeks to bring hope and purpose to children, youths and seniors so that they go on to create positive impact in their community and society.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to partner with the Heads of Department in growing & expanding our services. Reporting to Head of HR, the HR Team Lead will be responsible for leading and overseeing a dynamic HR team, ensuring the effective execution of HR processes, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the HR department. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, provide guidance and supervise the HR team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

· Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.

· Participate in annual budgeting process and execution.

· Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on conflict resolution and HR policies.

· Initiate continuous improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with management to support performance appraisals, coaching, and feedback processes.

· Identify employee training needs and ensure the team is driving initiatives for skills development, leadership training, and compliance.

· Payroll Management

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, withminimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.

· In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Proven experience in managing teams, driving change, and implementing HR initiatives.

· Familiar with ECDA Partner Operator (C-POP) Scheme funding guidelines and submissions. Experience in Early Childhood sector will be an added advantage.

· Independent, possess good organizational skills and able to work within tight deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications.
