We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Shared Services Head to lead and manage our HR Shared Services function. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR shared services and overall shared service operations. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive efficiencies, enhance service delivery, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the HR Shared Services function. Lead the team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR services across the organization, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR business partners, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the HR Shared Services function meets or exceeds expectations. Provide regular updates on service performance and improvements.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Shared Services team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus.
- Technology and Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance HR service delivery through technology and automation. Partner with IT to implement and manage HR systems and tools that support shared services operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure HR services are compliant with local, regional, and global regulations. Manage risks associated with HR operations, including data privacy, security, and compliance.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for the HR Shared Services function. Monitor performance against these metrics and report on service delivery outcomes to senior leadership.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR Shared Services budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to meet service delivery goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis, metrics tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong customer service orientation and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex HR projects, including transformations and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a global or multinational company.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in HR shared services and service delivery models.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
