We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR People Partner (HRPP) to provide support across HRBP teams for TikTok Engineering departments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to design and implement people strategies that drive organizational growth, innovation, and high performance. You will be instrumental in enhancing employee engagement, optimizing performance management, and improving organizational effectiveness. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our R&D teams as they scale, with a focus on continuously refining HR processes and launching new initiatives. To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 4 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytics, Insights, and Systems Changes:
Collect, analyze, and provide actionable insights from HR data to support decision-making and improve HR systems and processes. Lead and support system changes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. - Employee Relations Support:
Offer guidance and support regarding employee relations issues. Ensure fair and consistent resolutions in line with company policies and legal requirements, serving as a trusted advisor to both employees and leaders. - Documentation Preparation for Mobility/Transfers:
Oversee the preparation of essential documentation for employee mobility and transfers. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and facilitate a smooth transition process for employees moving between roles or locations. - Onboarding/Exit Interview Support:
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires to guarantee a seamless experience. Coordinate exit interviews, collect feedback, and analyze trends to boost retention and employee satisfaction. - Performance Program Management:
Manage performance programs to ensure they are in sync with organizational goals. Guide leaders in performance management and employee development. - Cross-Functional Follow-up for HR/Admin/REF/COE:
Coordinate and follow up on cross-functional HR initiatives involving HR, Administration, REF (Regional Employee Feedback), and COE (Centers of Excellence). Ensure smooth communication and the successful implementation of key programs. - Learning programs and Management Initiatives across the Region:
Support the planning and implementation of talent programs, creating an engaging and developmental experience for new graduates. - Ad-hoc Project Support:
Provide assistance for various ad-hoc HR projects and other HR initiatives as required. Ensure these projects are executed promptly and effectively in accordance with business objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Operations or Generalist.
- Proficiency in HR systems, analytics, and performance management tools.
- Experience with employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, particularly in employee relations and mobility.

- Strong operational and detail-oriented skills, with a focus on process management and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated success in strategic problem-solving and implementing HR initiatives that enhance business performance.
- Proven experience collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams to drive organizational goals.
