Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer and supplier of quality ingredients, tools, and services for the retail market. Currently, they are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support HR operations.
JOB SCOPE
Payroll Management
- Manage the full spectrum of payroll processes and reconciliation.
- Process year-end IR8E tax and IR21 tax clearance for foreign workers.
Reimbursement of Government-Paid Schemes
- Submit NS Makeup Pay Claim (NS Portal).
- Obtain reimbursement for government-paid schemes such as childcare leave, maternity leave, absentee payroll, etc.
Process/System Improvement
- Work on HR EcoSystem systems to enhance and automate processes for improved efficiency.
- Develop, build, test, implement, maintain, and enhance HR Information Systems configuration and security.
- Support stakeholders and users as the go-to person for assigned systems.
- Partner with HR process owners to review and streamline business processes.
- Develop information systems involving integration of multiple platforms, vendor products, and technologies.
- Ensure proper management and documentation of system knowledge within HR and the company.
System Maintenance
- Support HR Ecosystem users with related issues.
- Maintain data quality and consistency in HR Information Systems and other employee-related systems.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, detect, identify, and resolve technical problems.
- Provide timely updates on system issues and escalate risks as needed.
- Run scheduled reports and generate reports as required.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve system problems and manage enhancement requests.
- Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
- Stay updated on new releases and updates, propose enhancements, and facilitate roll-outs.
Others
- Participate in HR systems projects and initiatives.
- Participate in HR activities and events.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed.
PREREQUISITES
- Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Summary of role requirements:
- Availability to work during mornings on Monday to Friday.
- More than 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Working rights required.
- Expected start date: 19 August 2024.
- Salary range: $4,000 - $4,500 per month.
