Job description

Our client is transforming the cleaning industry with advanced robotic solutions that tackle manpower challenges. Their innovative robots are already making a difference in 30 countries. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a HR Payroll Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process accurate and timely payroll for employees, including salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions for the Singapore office.
  2. Maintain confidential payroll records and update changes such as promotions, terminations, and tax elections.
  3. Ensure compliance with Singapore labour laws, CPF contributions, employee leave, and other statutory requirements.
  4. Address employee payroll inquiries, providing clear explanations on pay, deductions, and benefits.
  5. Prepare and distribute payslips and reports, maintaining supporting payroll documentation.
  6. Generate monthly payroll reports and assist with payroll account reconciliations and related financial statements.
  7. Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee records (new hires, terminations, adjustments) for payroll processing.
  8. Assist finance with invoicing, payment tracking, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate payment processing and customer balances.
  9. Support general accounting tasks, such as journal entries and month-end closing activities.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  2. Proven payroll experience with knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations. Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting is a plus.
  3. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., EasyPay, Sage Payroll) and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  4. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in payroll processing and record-keeping.
  5. Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  6. Strong communication skills to resolve employee queries and collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams.
  7. Knowledge of Singapore's labour laws, CPF, tax regulations, and payroll standards is essential.
  8. Ability to resolve payroll and account discrepancies efficiently.
