Work you’ll do

• Responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring that employees (active and resigned) are paid accurately and on-time following the standard operating procedures.
• Review the taxability of each benefit, other forms of compensation or separation pay in accordance with updated tax/labor laws and any changes in employment regulations to ensure compliance.
• Manage payroll databases and maintain reliable information system.
• Maintain payroll system and coordinate with software vendor to ensure that the configurations are correctly done.
• Coordinate with HR Operations & Compliance regarding any changes in employee status or benefits.
• Provide inputs and support to HR related to eligibility for benefits, taxation, and government compliance.
• Review work of payroll team members; ensure proper allocation of work and distribution of work load
• Discipline and provide adequate training and mentoring to payroll staff
• Submit reports to the Country HR Lead.
• Provide pay details/data to Finance as needed to facilitate financial analysis or budgeting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll processing and management in a similar setting/industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine's employment laws and regulations.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
• High level of maturity, adaptability, and accountability.
