Job summary

A human resources consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a Payroll Specialist. This role involves calculating employee compensation, managing claims, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and coordinating with payroll vendors. Ideal candidates will hold a HR Management degree and possess strong Excel skills along with attention to detail. Join us to optimize payroll processes and support benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations (Employment Act, CPF, Income Tax, MOM).
  • Experience using HRIS systems and working with outsourced payroll vendors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and process employees’ compensation using HRIS software.
  • Manage claims (dental, medical outpatient, transport).
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations for wages and tax withholdings.
  • Prepare and upload monthly payroll data for approval and schedule bank payments.
  • Handle CPF submissions, NS Claims, Maternity/Childcare Leave Claims, Year-end Tax (IR8A), and IR21 submissions for foreign employees.
  • Liaise with outsourced payroll vendors and update HRIS employee data timely.
  • Generate monthly payroll, overtime, and active employee reports.
  • Provide ad-hoc payroll-related reports when required.
  • Administer insurance claims and support work pass applications/renewals.
  • Assist with annual compensation activities (budgeting, increment, bonus, appraisal).
  • Handle employee payroll queries and support external payroll audits.
  • Complete surveys for government agencies as required.

Requirements

  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and working with outsourced payroll vendors is preferred.
