Job description

We are looking for pro-active and dynamic individuals to join our team!
You will be part of the Organisation Office and play a key role in supporting daily operations. This includes managing the Human Resource Portal, overseeing training funds and course applications, tracking first-aid certifications, organizing ceremonies, and performing secretariat duties.

You will be trained across various HR functions and systems and gain valuable exposure to different staff operations.

Job Scope

You will assist the Head of Department in managing HR functions to support staff and contribute to the review and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and guidelines in the following areas:

  • Career Development
  • Talent Management
  • Performance Management
  • Awards & Recognition
  • Personnel-related matters
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and adapt HR policies and guidelines to support staff development.
  • Track staff attendance and ensure completion of compulsory courses (impacting deployment and career progression).
  • Identify and recommend relevant training and development programmes.
  • Manage training funds and related claims.
  • Coordinate and track First Aid course registrations and certifications.
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings and ranking sessions.
  • Offer professional advice on HR matters to officers.
  • Handle procurement matters, e.g., ordering staff service medals.
  • Process staff card applications and manage card destruction.
  • Oversee matters related to skill allowances, leave, and staff passes.
Requirements
  • Preferably a Degree in any field.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on HR experience.
  • Independent and detail-oriented.
  • Effective in communication and time management.
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; HR system knowledge is an advantage.
Contract Details
  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Working Hours: 42 hours per week
