Job description

The Role

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high level of expertise in HR, will exhibit strong decision-making skills along with a deep understanding of hiring within a technology-driven environment and responsibilities include

  • Supervise the HR department in overseeing all encompassing HR functions
  • Initiate enhancements to HR operations and infrastructure, ensuring precision, adherence to regulations, and productivity
  • Evaluate and enforce required modifications to the payroll system, such as system transition
  • Examine and refresh company policies and employee guidelines to ensure they are up-to-date and follow labor laws and industry standards
  • Collaborate with pertinent stakeholders to manage pay packages for newcomers or internal transferees
  • Manage payroll operations to ensure on-time and accurate salary disbursement
  • Oversee the handling of HR-related documents including employment agreements, role modifications, and contract terminations
  • Handle conflict management, disciplinary actions, and complaint procedures
  • Work closely with leaders to implement effective strategies for employee retention
  • Plan, organise, and conduct company-wide events aiming towards a positive, cohesive work environment
  • Head the yearly performance evaluation practice
  • Coordinate with insurance providers or brokers to manage the purchase and renewal of group general and medical insurance
  • Investigate trends in salaries and rewards to ensure a competitive and fair system
  • Summarize and verify regional payroll data
  • Act as the point of contact for any additional miscellaneous projects as needed.

Your Profile

You should have a degree in HR or Business or any related discipline, relevant HR certifications such as IHRP will be advantageous. You bring along 7 years experience in a similar capacity. You are people-oriented, and results driven, possess the competency to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels, have an in depth knowledge of the labour law and HR best practices.
