Job summary

A leading HR recruitment firm is seeking an HR Manager to manage workforce compliance, payroll, and HR audits in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience and a strong understanding of local employment laws, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of local manpower regulations and labor laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job description

HR Manager

Central

Full-time - 9am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Manage foreign workforce matters, including work pass applications, renewals, and compliance with local manpower regulations

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with statutory requirements

  • Lead and support HR audits, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, MOM requirements, and internal policies

  • Monitor and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and HR trends, recommending updates to policies and practices as needed

  • Prepare and submit required reports to management and relevant authorities on manpower statistics, payroll summaries, and audit findings

  • Foster a positive workplace culture and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters effectively

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably within the construction industry
