A leading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee a range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with employment regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management within the manufacturing or electronics industry, coupled with excellent communication skills and experience in handling union-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven HR management experience in manufacturing or electronics.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, training & development, and performance management.
  • Partner with department heads to support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws, and regulatory requirements (e.g. MOM, PDPA).
  • Drive employee engagement and well-being programs.
  • Manage and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.
  • Handle HR reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

[Must]
  • Candidate must have at least a Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources management within the manufacturing or electronics industry.
  • Strong background in recruitment, including full end-to-end hiring processes.
  • Hands-on experience with the implementation and compliance of PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act).
  • Experience working with or managing union-related matters, including union appraisals and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations, performance management, and ensure compliance with labour laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
