Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for an HR Manager to develop HR policies, oversee recruitment, and manage employee relations. Job description

Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and SOPs in compliance with MOM regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR functions, including payroll coordination, leave and attendance management, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR documentation and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for both local and foreign hires, including job postings, interviews, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies and training partners.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally and in line with employment laws.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to boost morale, retention, and company culture.
  • Promote a positive work culture through engagement initiatives and communication platforms.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training programs for employees.
  • Track and monitor training records and outcomes for audit and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports to Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or heavy machinery industry.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, Work Pass regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (Info Tech).
