Job description
    As an HR Manager at Fincent, a Series A Fintech Startup funded by Accel, you will play a crucial role in shaping the people strategy, fostering a strong company culture, and ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. Collaborating closely with the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing HR policies, overseeing talent acquisition, managing employee engagement, performance appraisal, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations in India.Your primary responsibilities will include driving end-to-end recruitment for technical, operational, and leadership positions, developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates, and establishing Fincent as a top startup workplace through robust employer branding initiatives. Additionally, you will design and implement HR policies aligned with the organization's values, partner with leadership on organizational design, and ensure adherence to statutory regulations.In terms of performance management, you will be responsible for implementing appraisal systems, facilitating feedback cycles, and creating career progression plans. Your role will also involve coaching managers to cultivate a high-performance culture, planning employee engagement activities, and acting as a trusted advisor in employee relations matters. Emphasizing transparency, innovation, and continuous learning, you will foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.Furthermore, you will identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs, promote leadership development for high-potential employees, and leverage your 68 years of HR experience, preferably in high-growth startups or SaaS companies. Your proven expertise in talent acquisition, policy development, and employee engagement, coupled with a sound understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance, will be instrumental in your success in this role. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to thrive in a remote-first environment and a passion for building culture and scaling teams in fast-paced settings, are essential attributes for this position.,
