Job description

A financial services start-up, with a leading founding team, is currently recruiting for an HR Manager to support the CEO in setting up the HR function and recruiting talent for the newly created team.

About the Job

As the HR Manager, you will operate at both an operational and strategic level to deliver high-quality HR services and support the company's growth plans.

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from taking the initial brief to advertising positions, liaising with agencies, organizing interviews, and handling offers.
  2. Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement a performance management process aligned with company goals and KPIs.
  3. Oversee the annual bonus calculation, salary reviews, and salary benchmarking.
  4. Coordinate payroll and administer the benefits program.
  5. Maintain and update the HRIS system, responsible for onboarding, offboarding, and generating letters.
  6. Handle visa and work permit matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Partner with the leadership team to align HR with business goals, providing HR business partner services.
  8. Work with the CEO to implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's vision.

The Team

This is an individual contributor role, reporting directly to the CEO.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or HR, with at least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role, ideally within a start-up or fast-growing environment. You should have strong recruitment management experience and be comfortable working at both operational and strategic levels, willing to engage in day-to-day HR activities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead across all levels of the business are essential.
