A leading retailer in Singapore is seeking an HR Manager to oversee full-spectrum HR functions, manage a team, and ensure compliance with employee regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in HR, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of labor laws. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to the company's HR strategies and employee relations.
Hands-on experience on the full-spectrum of payroll functions.
Champion employees onboarding process, conducts orientation and develops blueprints and orientation materials, oversee exit interview process.
Hands-on experience in recruitment from direct and indirect channels.
Manage a team of five (5) HR staffs.
Plan corporate social activities.
Handles staff disciplinary issues, bridging management and employees relations by addressing demands, grievances, or any other issues arising from operations and business units.
Review all letters to be issued to employees.
Providing recommendations and advice to the management and stakeholders on procedures, policies, and regulatory matters; proposing and aligning HR plans to the business strategies and to meet operational needs.
Handle top management and all confidential matters with discretion.
Submission of reports for management reporting.
Plan, monitor and assess HR activities to ensure that all legal compliances are met.
Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business directions.
Work closely together with Malaysia and the parent company. This includes submission of reports and delivering policies under tight timelines.
Administer yearly performance review and propose recommendations.
Assess, review and recommend updates on company policies constantly.
Conduct and compile MOM surveys.
Involved in staff investigations in relation to disciplinary matters, fraud cases. Provide reports and advise management on the appropriate disciplinary actions.
Review and process group medical insurance renewals.
Work closely with auditors to identify HR gaps.
Yearly review HR work plans and propose to streamline processes.
Be involved in the company’s activities.
Monitor and review costs in relation to the HR department.
Any Adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
Extensive knowledge of updated employment and labor laws;
Possess problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Able to start working immediately is a plus
