Human Resources Manager

We provide a fully-integrated service for our clients to access the financial and commodity derivative markets and will continue to expand into key financial and commodity markets.


The Team:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join as Human Resources Manager. This will be a sole contributor role, taking care of the full HR spectrum, and with functional reporting to our parent company, CWT.


Key Responsibilities

Onboarding and offboarding

  • Work closely with Departments on internships and recruitment and ensuring existing Job Descriptions database are standardised and updated
  • Manage onboarding, internal transfers and off-boarding processes
  • Application and regular maintenance of personnel licenses

Training and development

  • Develop, conceptualise and deliver orientation programmes
  • Manage learning and development programs and training incentives for employees, including monitoring of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for licensed persons.
  • Conduct regular training to Heads of Department on recruitment process, grievance handling performance management and updates on HR policies

Frameworks and Policies

  • Work with senior management on effective HR strategies and directions of the Company
  • Formulate and review policies related to people management, attraction, deployment and development

Compensation and benefits

  • Participate in annual compensation surveys; salary data review and analysis and update salary structure to align with company compensation policy and guidelines
  • Review and recommend staff welfare and benefits to ensure they are competitive with markets.

Performance evaluation and appraisal

  • Administer annual performance review, salary increment and promotion exercise and variable bonus
  • Review and update performance evaluation methods and programmes; train managers on performance management framework and process and provide career development and counselling to individuals

Industry engagement

  • Point-person for any HR industry engagements
  • Take initiative to be actively involved with relevant industry groups to be kept up to date with trends, upgrade skills and knowledge

Staff engagement and feedback

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and a positive and engaged workforce
  • Manage employee feedback and engagement channels, including developing regular employee engagement sessions/ surveys

Other administrative tasks

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of employee data and documents collected and updated in system, including training records, declarations, and other code of conduct matters
  • Manage leave and claims processes and systems applications, including digitalisation project.
  • Other ad-hoc HR-related tasks or projects

Requirements

You should possess the following:

  • Degree in Business/ Business Administration with specialisation in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • At least 5-7 year(s) of working experience in the related field in financial industry
  • Ability to handle wide range of personalities from junior executives to senior management, as well as industry practitioners
  • Must be well-versed in Singapore Labour Laws
  • Knowledge in compensation tools and methodology will be ideal
  • Familiar with hiring grants/incentives and applications
  • Familiarity with human resource management for non-bank financial institution will be a bonus.
