Our client, a fast-growing Global Investment Management Firm, is looking to hire an experienced HR Generalist to support their APAC offices. This newly created position, based in Singapore, presents an exciting opportunity to help shape and enhance HR operations across the region within a dynamic and high-performing environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees across APAC.
- Work closely with regional managers and the global HR team.
- Manage payroll and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local employment and tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records in Workday.
- Oversee key administrative functions such as onboarding, visa processing, employee relocations, and coordination with recruitment and office management teams.
A hands-on, detail-oriented mindset will be essential for success in this role.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with over 7 years of HR experience across the APAC region.
- Strong expertise in regional payroll, including year-end tax filings, and experience managing multi-national benefits programs.
- Solid understanding of APAC employment laws and employer/employee tax regulations.
- Proficiency in systems such as Workday and ActivPayroll is a strong advantage.
- Collaborative, resourceful team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to participate in bi-weekly meetings with global teams across different time zones.
