Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an HR Generalist to manage the recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance processes. This role offers a 5-day work week with flexible hours and a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in HR, with a strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and proficiency in HR software.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Proficient in HR systems (HRMS, payroll software, or similar platforms).

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment & onboarding process.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and handle queries.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and administer employee benefits.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure compliance with labour laws.

Job description

Position Title: HR Generalist

Location: Lentor(Shindo Industrial)

Working Day: 5 day work week

Working Hours: 9am-6pm (Flexible Hours)

Salary: $4,000-$4,500 (Depends on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment & onboarding process for operations and corporate roles.

  • Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations via MOM.

  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other pre-hiring documents.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and procedures.

  • Driveengagement initiativessuch as team bonding, wellness activities, and rewards programs.

  • Support performance appraisal exercises and facilitate career development discussions.

  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to enhance employee retention.

3. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Ensure accurate payroll processing by tracking attendance, overtime, and leave records

  • Work with payroll vendors for timely salary disbursements and statutory compliance (CPF, tax submissions, etc.).

  • Administer employee benefits such as insurance, leave policies, and claims.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain and updateHR systems and employee records.

  • Ensurecompliance with Singapore labour laws, MOM regulations, and workplace policies.

  • Assist intraining coordination(SkillsFuture grants, employee development programs).

5. Supporting Business Growth

  • Collaborate with managers toalign HR strategies with business needs

  • Proactively refine HR policies and practices tosupport operational efficiency.

Requirement:
