Core Responsibilities:

  • This newly created role supports business expansion and will oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition process across Singapore and Malaysia.

  • Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for current and future workforce planning.

  • Provide market intelligence and talent insights to hiring managers by analyzing external talent availability, enabling informed hiring decisions.

  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and proactively source candidates through multiple platforms.

  • Actively search for and engage potential candidates via job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels.

  • Pre-screen and source a highly qualified and diverse slate of candidates across all levels and functions, ensuring timely and cost-effective hiring.

  • Support the enhancement and utilization of the Applicant Tracking System (UKG Recruiting Gateway) for the Asia region.

  • Conduct ongoing talent scouting to build a strong pipeline of future-ready candidates.

  • Generate and analyze recruitment reports and key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention) to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve staffing practices and recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.

  • Conduct exploratory interviews to proactively build and maintain a robust talent pipeline.

  • Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and recruitment conferences as needed.

  • Support additional HR responsibilities and projects as assigned, including but not limited to employee relations, compensation planning, training, benefits administration, and other HR functions to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in in-house recruitment and HR business partnering role within a fast-paced and results-oriented organization is essential; a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of effective and innovative search tools and techniques.

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, initiative, and get-into-the-details person who has the ability to deal with change.

  • Experience in LinkedIn Talent Solutions and Applicant Tracking Systems, UKG’s Recruiting Gateway preferred.

  • Demonstrated performance in meeting hiring plans, advising hiring managers on recruiting and sourcing tactics/strategies.

  • Strong understanding of recruiting technologies and products. Excellent computer and internet skills, including job board data mining.

  • Relationship building and consultative skills required

  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and practices desired.

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor in a variety of situations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills required to interact with all levels internally and candidates effectively. This position demands the highest degree of diplomacy, outstanding judgment and integrity to resolve daily talent acquisition issues tactfully.

  • Ability to work independently to complete required tasks.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
