Job summary

A leading HR service provider in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee processing for multi-country payroll and ensure compliance with local laws. This role requires 2-3 years of experience, proficiency in payroll software, and strong attention to detail. You will manage payroll-related queries while maintaining the Human Resource Information System records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality throughout the process.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of hands-on payroll experience in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
  • Ability to handle confidential data with integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage monthly payroll processing.
  • Generate and verify monthly sales commission data for payroll inclusion for both countries.
  • Support payroll administration and prepare payroll reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory submissions and liaise with payroll vendors or Finance as needed.
  • Maintain and update Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records.
  • Ensure all HR practices and payroll processes comply with local employment laws and statutory requirements in both countries.
  • Address employee payroll-related queries with accuracy and discretion.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Available to start immediately and commit througout the contract.
  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on payroll experience, with familiarity in both Singapore and Malaysia payroll requirements.
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
  • Strong understanding of statutory contributions.
  • High attention to detail, meet tight deadlines, perform mutiple tasks and the ability to handle confidential data with integrity.
  • Experience in a multi-location business environment (retail/warehouse/office) is a plus.
