A leading company in Singapore seeks an HR Generalist for a 1-year contract to support daily HR operations, project management, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will help maintain employee records, generate reports for management, and ensure adherence to HR policies. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for engaging with employees and supporting HR initiatives.
Job Description:
Generalist HR Functions
Support daily HR operations transactional activities (Employee data management, Payroll, Attendance, Benefits Management, Statutory Compliance
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy
Project Management
Assist in planning and execution of HR-related projects (e.g., HRIS implementation, engagement surveys, policy rollouts)
Coordinate cross-functional teams and track project milestones
Ensure timely reporting and post-project reviews
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all HR documentation is up to date, complete, and audit-ready (e.g., employment contracts, policies, training records)
Conduct regular internal audits of HR files and systems
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during HR audits
Reporting & Analytics
Generate periodic reports for management on headcount, turnover, attendance, compliance, etc.
Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actions
Employee Engagement & Communication
Support employee engagement activities and initiatives
Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role with exposure to projects and compliance
Strong documentation, organization, and record-keeping skills
Hands-on experience with HR audits and compliance processes
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and strong follow-through abilities
This is a 1 Year Contract role, with the possibility of renewal.
