Responsibilities
- To ensure all activities related to HR functions comply with legal requirements and relevant labour laws and employment acts
- Assist the HR Manager on company HR policies, rules and regulations ensuring compliance with local and national regulations
- Assist the HR Manager to prepare and generate miscellaneous and monthly HR management reports
- Responsible for the application of foreign work passes and arranging for the renewal and training of workers prior to certificate expiry dates
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the list of supply labour resources
- Consolidate the competencies of staff and identify the training needs
- Circulate memoranda via email whenever there is a new announcement by Management or Government
- Process insurance and employee benefit claims
- Handle HR administration work
- Administer and coordinate various HR initiatives
- Integrate employee relations into the HR program by proactively addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that supports engagement and productivity
- Design and implement HR programs that drive employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion while facilitating performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Propose and collaborate on Learning & Development plans to improve training initiatives and career progression programs
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification (e.g., IHRP-CP) is a plus
Experience
- Preferred 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in an HRBP or generalist role
- Hands-on experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR compliance
- Proven track record in managing and driving HR functions and initiatives
- Experience in developing and managing Learning & Development programs
