A reputable HR firm in Singapore is seeking an HR professional to handle various HR functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, and employee management. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Business or HR Management and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin are essential. Candidates are expected to work overtime as needed and should be proactive with a positive attitude.
Roles & Responsibilities
* IR8 / IR21
* Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices
* Good knowledge of Government legislations (MOM, CPF and IRAS)
* Assist in recruitment processes including job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
* Conduct new employee orientations and manage the onboarding process.
* Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
*Coordinate and assist for project deployment.
* Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
* Organize and maintain personnel files and ensure confidentiality.
* Timely renewal and cancellation of work permits for foreign workers.
* Carries out work permit applications, renewals and cancellations of foreign workers in a timely manner;
* Follows up with purchase or cancellation of workers’ bond guarantees;
* Any other HR & Account functions as assigned
Requirements:-
* Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business or HR Management or equivalent qualifications.
* Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
* Understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR practices.
* Good command of written and spoken in English and Mandarin to interact with Chinese speaking employees. Can use translation app but in a proper documents.
* Possess integrity, “Can Do” attitude with passion and a global mindset
* Able to work overtime as required.
