Job summary

Job Summary:

The Senior HR Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing key human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the HR strategy, improving processes, and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for both local and foreign hires.
  • Ensure all MOM, Work Pass, and regulatory requirements are complied with (e.g., WP, S Pass, EP applications, renewals, and cancellations).
  • Coordinate orientation and onboarding processes for new hires.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and physical files.
  • Handle contract preparation, confirmation letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Monitor and track staff attendance, leave, and medical records.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues professionally.
  • Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
  • Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts.

Performance Management

  • Assist in coordinating performance review cycles and tracking KPIs.
  • Support departments in managing employee development plans.
  • Identify training needs and support implementation of training programs.

Payroll & Benefits (if applicable)

  • Liaise with payroll department to ensure accurate input of HR data.
  • Support salary benchmarking and benefits administration.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate HR reports and statistics for management reviews.
  • Assist in audits and prepare reports for MOM or internal compliance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a construction/marine/oil & gas environment.
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment laws, MOM regulations, and work pass systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CEI (Basic) certification if involved in foreign recruitment.
  • Class 3 Driving License (if required for site visits or inter-office transport).
