A leading company in the food sector is seeking a motivated HR Executive to enhance their HR functions. This role involves managing payroll, recruitment, and employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment. Ideal candidates will have a degree in HR Management and relevant experience.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Executive to support a wide range of HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, work pass matters, and employee relations. This role also involves providing advisory support to managers and assisting with staff queries to ensure HR policies are clearly communicated and consistently applied.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Prepare and post job advertisements on job portals and social media platforms
Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interview arrangements
Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Support the onboarding and orientation process for new hires
Payroll & HR Administration
Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Submit tax clearance (IR21) for departing foreign employees
Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, increment letters, and promotion letters
Maintain and update employee records in the HR system and physical files
Generate and compile HR reports (e.g. headcount, turnover, leave records, manpower forecasts)
Work Pass & Compliance
Handle applications, renewals, and cancellations of work passes (WP, SP, EP)
Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and company policies
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices
Employee Relations & HR Support
Provide first-level advisory to managers and supervisors on HR policies, employment terms, and staff queries
Assist in resolving employee issues and ensure fair application of HR policies
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation
Support engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, MOM/IRAS regulations, and HR practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
IHRP-CA or IHRP-CP certification is preferred
