About Doodle Labs
Doodle Labs is a fast-growing technology startup in the robotics and defense tech space. We are revolutionizing high-performance wireless networking solutions to empower cutting-edge autonomous systems. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Executive to build and optimize our people operations, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent.

What You’ll Do – Key Performance Objectives
1. Build and Implement Core HR Policies and Processes (First 3-6 Months)

  1. Design and roll out HR policies and procedures that align with company culture and growth objectives.
  2. Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry best practices in hiring, payroll, and benefits.
  3. Develop an employee handbook with clear guidelines on workplace expectations, leave policies, and performance management.
  4. Establish a scalable HR infrastructure, setting up HR systems and tools to support rapid growth.

2. Lead Talent Acquisition and Onboarding (Ongoing)

  1. Develop a structured hiring process to attract top engineering, operations, and leadership talent.
  2. Implement and maintain an Applicant Tracking System (eg. Jazz HR) to streamline recruitment.
  3. Create a compelling employer branding strategy to position Doodle Labs as an employer of choice.
  4. Improve the onboarding experience, ensuring all new hires feel welcomed and productive within 30 days.

3. Drive Employee Engagement and Performance Management (6-12 Months)

  1. Design and execute employee engagement programs to enhance workplace satisfaction.
  2. Develop and implement a performance review framework, enabling data-driven talent decisions.
  3. Establish a training and development program, ensuring employees have clear career growth paths.
  4. Build internal communication strategies to improve transparency and alignment with company goals.

4. Oversee Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll (Ongoing)

  1. Benchmark and implement competitive compensation structures to retain top talent.
  2. Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  3. Evaluate and recommend benefits programs (healthcare, wellness initiatives, remote work policies, etc.).
  4. Ensure equitable pay practices across all departments.

5. Strengthen Company Culture and Diversity Initiatives (6-12 Months)

  1. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace.
  2. Design and implement culture-building activities such as company events, mentorship programs, and leadership development.
  3. Act as an advisor to leadership, providing strategic recommendations on culture and people operations.

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a fast-growing tech or startup environment.
Strong understanding of HR compliance, policies, and labor laws.
Proven ability to build and scale HR processes from scratch.
Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
Hands-on experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
Experience in compensation planning and benefits administration.
Background in building HR functions in a tech startup.
