HR cum Account Assistant
Salary: $2,400 - $3,500
Working days: 5 days a week, from 8:30am to 6:00pm
Location: Near Ikea Tampines
Human Resource Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and timely on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Act and taxation policies.
- Handle administrative duties related to HR matters and claims.
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, etc.
- Maintain licensing with government bodies, including application and renewal processes.
- Assist with submission of CPF contributions, IR21, IR8A, levy claims, government surveys, and statutory submissions.
- Maintain and renew insurances, security bonds, and handle insurance claims.
- Keep HR records and profiles updated in the HR system and MOM portal.
- Verify timesheets, attendance, and leave balances for staff.
- Prepare letters and internal announcements as needed.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare management reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting.
- Handle CPF contributions, tax clearance, and annual tax filings, working with the accountant during audits.
- Maintain accurate records in the accounting system.
- Submit quarterly GST and assist with annual corporate tax submissions.
- Monitor cash flow projections and perform cash flow management.
- Prepare invoices, debit and credit notes, payments, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements.
- Send reminders to customers for payments due.
- Conduct expenditure variance analysis and monitoring.
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits.
- Work with tax agents on taxation matters.
- Liaise with company secretary, banks, local authorities, and other relevant parties on financial matters.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Knowledge of MOM rules and regulations is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR and accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HR, Payroll, or Accounting software (e.g., Infotech, E-Retail, MYOB).
- Fluent in English and Mandarin for communication with overseas counterparts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
