Job description

Responsibilities

TikTok will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require TikTok's sponsorship of a visa.

We are seeking an HR Business Partner to provide support to our TikTok Engineering teams. You will be responsible for employee relations, retention, and supporting initiatives such as performance reviews, while also improving existing processes and procedures collaborating with key stakeholders across the business. As we continue to rapidly grow, you will also assist in building innovative new programs to support our R&D teams as they scale.

About the Team

The R&D team is building up core TikTok products to ensure TikTok's continued growth, deliver the best product experience to all users, build attractive features, earn trust in privacy protection, and more.

Our organization follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring employees to work in the office 4 days a week or as directed by their manager/department. This model is regularly reviewed and may change.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with your assigned business unit(s) and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
  • Manage employee disciplinary issues and advise business leaders on case management.
  • Consult with line management to provide HR guidance on talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues in operations, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, and other teams to implement solutions.
  • Drive employee engagement within your business unit(s).
  • Promote TikTok's organizational culture through planning and implementing cultural activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent HR experience.
  • 4+ years HR experience.
  • 1+ years as an HR Business Partner.
  • Experience with performance management, employee relations, and data analytics/reporting.
  • Project management and change management skills, with the ability to drive programs independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in human resources or related field is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and relationship-building experience.
  • Ability to adapt work style to meet organizational needs, including global and cross-functional collaboration.
