Job description

Responsibilities

TikTok will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require TikTok's sponsorship of a visa.

  1. Partner with your assigned business unit(s) and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
  2. Consult with line management and provide HR guidance when appropriate, including talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
  3. Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
  4. Manage employee disciplinary issues and provide advice to business leaders on ways to manage each case.
  5. Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, and other HR teams to implement solutions.
  6. Drive employee engagement agenda for the employees in your business unit(s).
  7. Be the ambassador of TikTok organizational culture. Plan and implement organizational cultural activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of Human Resources Business Partner in a high-growth company.
  2. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  3. Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs.
  4. Demonstrated progression and increased scope in matrix, high-growth organizations.
  5. Deep business acumen and the executional know-how of building and growing businesses through the ongoing development and support of its people.
  6. BA/BS degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Prior experience supporting and working in a Tech Business environment is preferred.
  2. MBA or advanced degree in Psychology or Human Resources Management preferred; certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise a plus, including coaching certifications.
