JOB SUMMARY:

Assists Textron Aviation Singapore’s internal customers by providing HR guidance and support with processes, communications, policies, procedures, and services for a wide variety of human resources activities. This role will collaborate closely with the Australian HR Business Partner as well as HR colleagues at other Textron businesses in the region. Location is the Textron Aviation Singapore Service Center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Answers inquiries regarding policies, procedures, practices, training, and communications.
  2. Support and prepare the monthly payroll and timekeeping records.
  3. Investigates and responds to issues and provides transactional support as needed.
  4. Partner with HR specialists in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Services, and Talent and Development to maximize program and service delivery to the employee population.
  5. Manage the recruitment process including posting job requisitions on various platforms, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  6. Support the annual performance management and merit review process.
  7. Handle HR-related transactional tasks such as employee data changes, recordkeeping, and maintenance of employee personnel and training records.
  8. Prepare employment contracts, salary variation letters, certificates of employment, end of probation letters, training agreements, and other necessary documents.
  9. Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
  10. Manage relationships with polytechnics for internships and with training organizations for apprenticeships.
  11. Oversee timesheets and liaise with payroll to communicate pay variations.
  12. Manage employee benefits and related administrative tasks.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in core human resource principles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage workload/priorities effectively.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information.
  • Thorough knowledge of Singapore labor laws; knowledge of Australian labor law is preferred.
  • Customer service orientation—proactive communication, reliability, and accuracy in expertise.
  • Exceptional PC skills, including MS Office; familiarity with Taleo, Peoplesoft, and Timeclock Plus is preferred.
  • Maintain professional relationships through contribution, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
