HR Business Partner (Financial Services)

Your new company
A financial services organisation with headquarters in Germany is looking for a HR Business Partner.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the incumbent will cover Singapore, APAC and Middle East regions on the full spectrum of HR-related matters.

Responsibilities

  1. HRBP
    • Provide HR consulting and advice to various stakeholders
    • Review employment and working conditions, ensuring legal and group compliance
    • Work on HR projects to promote employee motivations, retention and employer branding
    • Employee-relations management
  2. Recruitment / Employee Life Cycle
    • Talent attraction and acquisition
    • Oversee all operational aspects of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
    • Oversee maintenance of employee databases ensuring data integrity
  3. Payroll
    • Oversee payroll-related activities with external payroll service providers, including income tax reporting
    • Ensure timely processing of monthly payroll
  4. Compensation and Benefits
    • Provide input for annual participation of Compensation and Benefit Survey
    • Annual review of Medical Insurance coverage for employees
    • Ensure competitiveness of employee compensations and benefits
  5. HR Process and Policies
    • Develop data-driven insights and provide informed recommendations to support decision-making
    • Enhance and streamline workflow processes through digitalisation and automation
    • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
  6. Training and Development
    • Review training needs analysis in alignment with employees' training and development needs to ensure the highest quality of learner experience
    • Coordinate training and ensure training policies are adhered to
  7. Employee Engagement
    • Drive engagement activities - surveys/ events/ team bonding activities / CSR
    • Market events to employees, creating interest and participation
    • Execute BG initiatives locally
  8. Others
    • Liaise with Internal and External Auditors
    • Provide input pertaining to HQ's request on Manpower Survey
    • Participate in Quarterly Survey from MOM
    • Assist with Annual HR Budgeting
    • Application of Employment Pass for foreign employees

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Candidates should possess regional experience.
  • Familiar with local laws and governance processes to ensure compliance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Candidate with SAP experience preferred.
