Job description

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the HR Business Partner plays a key role in delivering both strategic and operational HR support across departments in the Front Office. The Front Office consists of frontline staff such as nurses, therapists and social and case workers, etc.

Working closely with Heads of Department (HODs), the role focuses on talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and career development to meet both departmental and organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HODs to provide end-to-end HR support that aligns with departmental and organisational priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with HODs and employees to support employee engagement and career development.
  • Advise on talent acquisition, development, succession planning and performance management.
  • Conduct recruitment activities including interviewing and coordination with hiring managers.
  • Manage end to end employee life cycle to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Provide HR advice to employees and managers on HR policies and processes, escalating complex issues where appropriate.
  • Assist with HR planning and execution of staff engagement initiatives, welfare activities and events.
  • Work with the team to ensure salary and rewards frameworks are aligned with industry and organisational standards.
  • Support implementation of salary structure revisions based on internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Support the preparation of HR budgets, dashboards, and reports for management decision-making.
  • Drive outreach and retention initiatives to support workforce planning to ensure sustainable talent pipelines, including developing a robust internship programme.
  • You will also be assisting in projects and/or initiatives that will drive employee experience, employer branding and retention.

Criteria:

  • Related education in HR with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a HR role with experience working directly with department heads and employees.
  • IHRP certified preferred
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Experience in the social service sector is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
