Key Job Accountabilities:
Business Partner
Liaise with stakeholders on HR matters.
Partner with respective Business Partner on overseas project.
Employee Relation and Communication
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
Organize and plan client group events.
Monitor and analyze turnover.
Administer feedback channels for employees.
Recruitment
Recruit, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positions.
Brief new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company policies and goals.
Work closely with managers to define specific position requirements.
Develop and implement candidate search strategies.
Assess the effectiveness of search strategies and adjust plans as necessary.
Plan and organize local institute Career Fairs and public Job Fairs.
Keep abreast of Tertiary events and build close relationships to tap into fresh graduates.
Develop a talent data bank to be proactive in recruitment and selection activities.
Compensation and Benefits
Assist and drive the development of appropriate compensation and benefits projects.
Deploy annual programs such as salary benchmarking, focal review, variable pay, and performance appraisal across worldwide.
Manage expatriate administration, including handling issues related to work passes, taxes, relocations, and other expatriate matters.
Administer plant-wide day-to-day activities, including processes for new hires, confirmations, and resignations.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Business Degree preferably with a postgraduate Diploma in HR or its equivalent.
A track record of successful employee relations in a challenging environment, ideally gained in a production and customer service environment is preferred.
A business-focused HR person with drive, energy, and tenacity.
Track record of achieving significant culture change.
Intellectually robust, relishing working in multiple teams.
Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.
3 years of experience preferably in HR Function.
