Overview
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction Industry
  • Position Title: HR Associate
  • Working Location: West - Tuas Crescent (Company transport provided)
  • Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon - Fri: 8 am - 5 pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to SGD 3500 + Allowances + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for domestic and international employees.
  • Manage applications, renewals, and terminations for S Passes, Work Permits, and Employment Passes.
  • Process monthly payroll using HRMS, ensuring timely submission of CPF/SDL contributions, IR8A and IR21 forms, and handling statutory claims such as NSmen compensation, parental leave benefits, and other government reimbursements.
  • Monitor manpower quotas, permit expiry dates, insurance coverage, housing standards, and levy obligations.
  • Facilitate performance review processes, including goal alignment and development planning.
  • Conduct assessments to identify training needs and oversee SkillsFuture and SDF grant applications.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures, and employee manuals.
  • Address employee concerns, manage disciplinary actions, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Ensure meticulous upkeep of personnel files, HR analytics, and digital records.
  • Communicate with regulatory bodies such as MOM, CPFB, IRAS, and collaborate with external service providers to support HR compliance and employee welfare.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably within SMEs serving industrial or construction sectors.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore labour laws, foreign workforce regulations, and manpower-related frameworks.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with InfoTech software is an added advantage.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
